to be absent from the body...

Yesterday my brother (pictured above) lost his mom. This man plays such a role in my life. I meet him when I was about 10 years old, when he started dating my older sister. All I can remember from back then is that I loved him. As I have grown up and him and my sister got married, I value him as a black man. My dad really didnt set an example on how a man should treat a woman, neither did my stepdad. So when I look at him , he is a role model for what a real man looks like and how he should treat his wife. Chad loves my sister more than anything in this world, and I just love that about him. So when his mother passed away yesterday, it crushed me! For a man to lose his mom... I dont even know what to say. Both are my parents are still with me, and I cant even imagine how life would be without the woman who birthed me here. I love him so much and dont want him to be in pain, but what do you say to comfort someone in this time. I know my God tells me that to be absent from the body means to be present with the Lord, and I absolutely believe that. But what about the people that are left behind once they are with the Lord. I pray that God protects his heart and provides all the peace that surpasses all understanding. I love you chad and pray for you everyday. May your mom rest in perfect peace.

this is right before i washed my hair. i deep conditioned my hair for about 4 hours.(just laying around the house;)) and of course you can see i do that in about 16 twists.

And here are the results. i really like how pre pooing makes my hair look. i did it with just jojoba oil. nothing special. I wash my hair in four sections. Okay now about that, i think its time to changed that part of my routine because my scalp gets really clean, but the dirt doesnt make its way all the way out, if that makes sense. so im goin to have to try something new. But i l o v e it.

i waiting for most of my hair to dry(about 60%) before i style it. Most likey i will put the results up tomorrow.. its goin to take the rest of the night for my hair to dry!!

So i have finally did it!! i have wanted to start a blog for so long, but was a little apprehensive because i didnt know if you guys could handle all that goes on in this head of mine 0_o. But im excited to see where this journey takes me and how my hair will do.
